Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel felt like a royal experience with its huge rooms featuring frescoed ceilings and a marble fireplace, facing the bustling main road of Spello, Via Cavour. The room size felt like a palace, especially with the extra-large living room. However, the rooms were on the small side, which is why I'm giving 4 stars.
Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a nice large shower and a view of the valley from one of the windows. The service was excellent, with a friendly and accommodating staff that made me feel valued. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the charming old town surrounded by restaurants and shops. The dining options were abundant and of high quality, offering a great start to the day. Although the rooms may be a bit outdated, they were still well-maintained and suited my needs perfectly for a relaxing stay.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s perfectly located in the heart of Spello, overlooking the historic Piazza Matteotti where the 15th-century Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore is located. The rooms are quite comfortable, but a bit crowded with the beds open. The service was exceptional, with extremely personable and helpful staff always ready to assist. The location is amazing, ideal for exploring Spello, although parking can be a bit challenging in the old zone. Dining was a delightful experience with a tasty continental buffet. Overall, great value for the money.
